Play that leads the way
The playground has been designed with clear visual and physical cues that help children understand how to move through the space. Rubber domes create a playful balancing and jumping challenge, while also forming a pathway that naturally guides children around the playground. Positioned alongside the main walkway, they invite children to interact with the play space even as they move past it, turning circulation into another opportunity for play.
Wayfinding continues through the soft-fall design. Different colours, circles and shapes create visible routes across the ground, helping children identify where to enter the equipment, where to move next and how to navigate around busier areas. This helps reduce congestion while also making the playground easier to interpret for children who may feel less confident entering a busy play environment.
The equipment provides different levels of challenge once children arrive. The RePlay™ GeoClimber gives older and more confident children somewhere to climb higher, test their balance and push their abilities, while the Wildling Connect unit provides several ways to play at different comfort levels. Multiple slides offer different experiences, while lower-level activities create accessible opportunities for children who prefer to stay closer to the ground.
Together, the equipment, surfacing and surrounding play elements create a playground where movement feels intuitive, but children still have plenty of freedom to choose their own way through.
