Fenwick Park once stood tall before being lost to an act of vandalism. What followed was an empty space and a community waiting for it’s playground to return. The City of Brisbane engaged Urban Play to bring the project together, with Moduplay supporting the delivery of a new, revitalized and more engaging play space designed for the future. Today, Fenwick Park is once again a place for movement, exploration and connection.
At the heart of the playground sits an innovative custom Connect unit, a true testament to our Australian-made and owned process. Delivering contemporary, versatile play that encourages children to engage, explore and play together. The structure features three distinct sections with a mix of slides, climbing elements and technical challenges. The integrated SkyRail adds another layer of play, creating an experience that is dynamic. To complement the unit, the playground also includes:
- An inclusive Neo Saucer
- A Hangsie Rocker
- A Compact Triple Bay Swing
Projects like Fenwick Park are a reminder that play is about more than equipment; it’s about community. After losing a much-loved space, this community now has its playground back, and we’re proud to have played a role in bringing it home. Fenwick Park is a shared community space once again. Built on what was loved before and designed to endure, it offers something for everyone and will continue to do so for years to come.
