Steve Quinsey | CEO
Profile
As CEO, I try to focus on where the most pressing need of the business is which is dictated by multiple feedback mechanisms and metrics. Currently involved in building the project coordination team to increase customer satisfaction throughout their purchasing journey. Over the last 15 years at Moduplay, I have had direct involvement in most areas of the business, from finance to customer service, sales to construction, manufacturing to warehousing. Formally trained in accountancy and business management.
How I define Success
The team is happy and producing, the numbers are going in the right direction/s.
What I ‘really’ do
For half the day I work with the sales team who are helping our customers get the playground they need. I have meetings with them to talk about some of the current jobs and I talk to customers to see how they are getting on. The rest of the day I work in the operations side of the business which might be buying the things we need to make playgrounds or making sure our trucks and cars are registered and safe to drive.
My favourite product
I love our Skytowers range. Kids get such a thrill at being able to look down on the world from a place that is 10 times taller than they are, and the slides are awesome.
Outside work you’ll find me…
Bringing play to my own kids, trying to teach them life skills that will help them thrive in a changing world.

Profile
I look after our customer service and sales team, and love helping out in the design, technical and project side of things too.
How I define Success
When we become the ‘go to’ for everything play related, and our clients rely on our consistent expertise, speed and precision, that’s when we know we’re winning as a team.
What I ‘really’ do
I work with a great team to make sure our customers are happy.
My favourite product
I have a long list of favourites, but the Urbanfit Nitro Cage has to be one of the best things ever invented. If you’re wanting a full body workout, look no further. I also have a soft spot for Spectra and our new Geoclimbers.
Outside work you’ll find me…
Playing music or doing a coast walk.

Ellen Land | Accounts Administrator
Ellen Land | Accounts Administrator
Profile
Accounts Administration. I began my administration career in 2017 at The Smith Family where I volunteered as an office administrator for several months while completing my Certificate III in Business Administration. I then accepted a temporary offer as a Family Partnerships Coordinator, where I administered and organised programs within the community to assist families in crisis. I completed my Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting in 2019 to specialise in an accounting-based administration career. I now work in the finance department at Moduplay Group where I assist the Financial Director to schedule payments to suppliers, invoice clients, enter and maintain records, reconcile transactions and proofread client contracts. I also complete general office management tasks, such as supply ordering and lunch ordering.
How I define Success
When suppliers are paid and clients are invoiced! Not only that but when staff members reach out for assistance with clerical tasks. I am always happy to prioritise my workload to complete any urgent ad-hoc tasks.
What I ‘really’ do
I help manage the money at Moduplay, I look after the office supplies and I make sure everything is in order.
My favourite product
I love the Bushwood theme Moduplay Equipment as it brings nature to play! I also love our Discovery Play range where children can immerse themselves in the worlds of music, art and science without even knowing it!
Outside work you’ll find me…
spending time in the great outdoors or starting a new creative project like pottery, sewing, macrame or painting. I love spending time simply gardening, going for a scenic motorcycle ride, paddle-boarding in the warmer months or walking along a local nature trail with my greyhound, Magic.

Manuel Lozano | Graphic Designer
Manuel Lozano | Graphic Designer
Profile
I had to reinvent myself a few times in my professional life. From completing an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management and working in 5 Star Hotels to manage a large supply chain of workwear and safety gear, and finally, obtain my Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. The career I always wanted to pursue.
My role in the Moduplay Group is to analyse, plan and create visual solutions for all our marketing needs. I design layouts for print and web according to our company’s guidelines. I liaise with printers, programmers and other technicians in order to meet specific needs.
How I define Success
I started working for Moduplay 8 years ago and have witnessed how a family business becomes a successful company. In the Moduplay Group, we are as strong as ever, and I am part of it. It is the sense of belonging and be part of that history of success.
What I ‘really’ do
Challenges are everywhere and we decide whether we ignore these and try to forget OR become part of the solution.
Being a father of 3 wonderful children and husband of a beautiful wife allows me to use my experience, patience and perseverance, and apply the same principles here at work. Always approach my workplace and teammates with positivity, respect and a smile!
My favourite product
It has to be the SkyTowers! I could only imagine having these amazing towers at a park when I was a kid.
Outside work you’ll find me…
Driving my kids to training or at a soccer match. That is the other part of our lives and we love it!… not so much the driving though!
