Kempt Field

Hurstville, NSW

The massive inclusive Adventure Playground at Kempt Field was designed in collaboration with the local community to create a safe and colourful centre for families to enjoy for years to come. The reclaimed area is a first-class recreational asset for the community and caters to all ages and abilities with a diverse range of passive and active play opportunities.

With differing textures and zones, children of various ages and abilities can play together, sharing experiences and developing social and physiological skills. The playground features a toddler-focused space for younger children to safely push their limits and develop their risk analysis with tall Double Mounds and a 6m Rope Bridge. A Bike Training Circuit exposes children to road safety rules and allows bike and scooter access.

All-ages areas feature accessible play equipment, including the Double Skyrider with Accessible Seat, Mounded Trampoline Track, 4.5m Mammoth Swing with inclusive Nest Seat and an All-Access Carousel.

Other spaces were designed to help older children push their boundaries, like the Konnecta trail, and Milan Wildnet Summit with the giant rainbow tube slide.
